BIOECHOES, INC. LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE
www.bioechoes.com
designed to empower corporations, government and citizens to BE the change they want to see
Birmingham, AL – BioEchoes, Inc, today launched its new website, www.BioEchoes.com. Under the company’s banner, “Greater Insight, Greater Good,” the website has an innovative and refreshing design that showcases the important new areas into which BioEchoes is expanding its services.
Initially founded in 1990 as Bidez and Associates, Inc., this unique biomedical engineering firm has enjoyed significant success in the fields of technology transfer and injury prevention and control, particularly in the area of consumer safety. BioEchoes is now expanding its services to include professional consultation in occupational health and safety systems, as well as ethical leadership and public policy. BioEchoes’ President and CEO Dr. Martha Bidez said the company’s new divisions and its new website is particularly timely given the convergence of two new trends in worker safety. In late 2005, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) published the world’s first national consensus standard in occupational health and safety systems (ANSI Z-10), which established a new “best practice” for how corporations protect worker safety. According to Dr. Bidez, “The ANSI Z-10, much like Sarbanes-Oxley, places significant responsibility for worker safety on the shoulders of executive management. And yet, many, if not most corporate and government agency leaders don’t even know about this new ‘best practice.’” This new consensus standard, coupled with the Obama administration’s commitment to enhancing OSHA regulation and enforcement activity, is a clear sign that corporations and government agencies will likely need some support in raising their bar to “best practice.” “With our firm’s decades of experience and expertise, we are perfectly poised to step into that leadership role for our corporate and government clients,” Dr. Bidez said.
Designed by Cincinnati-based advertising agency, the Creative Department, bioechoes.com effectively positions the company as an expert within the legal, corporate and government communities. “Launching a new website is like repackaging a brand, and that’s tricky territory,” said Creative Department Partner and Chief Creative Thinker, Steve Deiters. “Communicating the roles safety, ethical leadership, public policy, and bio-inspired design can, and should, play in society presents a unique challenge. Fortunately, Dr. Bidez and her team have a best in class understanding of how safety factors and innovation can serve the greater good.”
The site highlights how companies and government agencies, including the military, can be strong, safe, innovative, and profitable in these difficult economic times. A unique blog by Dr. Bidez, “Greater Insight” offers the latest thinking about global public policy related to worker and consumer safety and ethical leadership. The website also empowers citizens and provides them with a road map to make their community a better place to live, work, and play.
