Education & Training
Empowered personnel are the keystone in reinventing and reinvigorating government to achieve maximum performance. Yet, managing change in today’s global environment is not easy for any individual in any agency or branch of the military. BioEchoes offers timely programs to address this pressing need for effective change management.
SYSTEM SAFETY AND ETHICAL LEADERSHIP
System safety requirements provide for the "identification and understanding of all known hazards and their associated risks; and mishap risk eliminated or reduced to acceptable levels" (MIL-STD-882). A new ANSI compliance standard (ANSI/GEIA-STD-0010-2009) provides further best practice guidance on system safety programs, particularly in military applications. These new standards are reviewed in the context of real world system safety failures and the critical role of ethical leadership in catastrophic injury prevention and safeguarding property.
Leadership Under Attack™
BioEchoes’ leadership seminars and training workshops – Leadership Under Attack™ – are grounded in the real-world leadership experiences of business entrepreneur and safety activist, Dr. Martha Bidez. Dr. Bidez knows change and crisis management first hand. Powerful insider insight is woven together to motivate and educate leaders on how to remain solidly grounded in core values in the midst of crisis rather than succumbing to bunker mentality.
The Sacred Cow – Workplace Safety
BioEchoes' Sacred Cow seminars are founded on our decades of experience with safety and safety-related issues. They are designed to educate managers and executives and help their organizations avoid the potential expense and long term business consequences of compromising core system safety values, particularly during times of change. Seminar topics include The Role of Engineering Design in Human Error Reduction and What Executives and Officers Need to Know About New ANSI Occupational Safety Standards.
